This bottle, made from stoneware clay, started on the potters wheel and was altered and sculpted by hand. It was decorated with a traditional Shino glaze before being finished in a kiln fired for 3 days with pine and oak wood, the ash accumulated on the surface of the clay and melted into a natural glaze that is a unique expression of the wood, smoke and heat decorating the surface of the clay. The top is fitted with a non reactive food safe rubber stopper.
