This thrown and altered Sculptural serving vessel made with white stoneware clay started on the potters wheel, was sculpted by hand and then perforated. It was finished in a kiln fired for 3 days with pine and oak wood, the ash accumulated on the surface of the clay and melted into a natural glaze that is a unique expression of the wood, smoke and heat decorating the surface of the clay.

This piece is food and dishwasher safe. Use it to store fruit on your counter or precious trinkets or fill the inside with water and adorn it with flowers in holes.
