This thrown and altered Sculptural serving vessel made with Stoneware clay started on the potters wheel, was sculpted by hand and then perforated. It was decorated with layers of slips before being finished in a kiln fired for 3 days with pine and oak wood, the ash accumulated on the surface of the clay and melted into a natural glaze that is a unique expression of the wood, smoke and heat decorating the surface of the clay.

This piece is food and dishwasher safe. Use it to store produce on your counter or precious trinkets or serve food to make any occasion special.
